Students’ Film Festival “EARLY BIRD”

The 1st Students’ Film Festival “EARLY BIRD” took place on May 25, 2005, in cinema “Center”, Sofia. Students from the South-West University "Neofit Rilski", The National Academy for Theatre & Film Arts, and the New Bulgarian University participated in the film competition with 24 films.

The 2nd Students’ Film Festival “EARLY BIRD” took place October 27-29 in “House of Cinema”, Sofia. The program featured a two-part master class, presentation of a book, and, of course, a film competition, in which participated student films from the South-West University "Neofit Rilski", The National Academy for Theatre & Film Arts, the New Bulgarian University, Art College, and Varna Free University.

The 3rd Students’ Film Festival “EARLY BIRD” was international and took place November 1-4 in “House of Cinema”, Sofia. The participants were from Serbia, Greece, Croatia, Romania, Turkey, and Bulgaria. The jury was also international: Silvio Fischbein (Argentina), Arik Kaplun (Israel), Henry Verhasselt (Belgium), Ivan Pavlov (Bulgaria).
