First gold medal for Bulgaria in the International Physics Olympiad since the beginning of 21st century!

Bulgaria won a gold medal in the 39th International Physics Olympiad 2008 in Hanoi, Vietnam - the first since the year 2000. The Bulgarian team also won 2 silver and 1 bronze medals:

Peter Petrov - Professional High School of Mechanics and Electronics, Burgas - gold medal;

Stefan Krastanov - High School of Math and Science, Burgas - silver medal;

Ignat Kalinov - High School of Math and Science, Pleven - silver medal;
